Below is the information regarding the different activities
that the Home of the Mother has planned for the three coming months.
The events will take place at Assumption Parish. You can invite
other people that may be interested in attending.

RETREAT:
PLEASE BRING YOUR FAVORITE THANKSGIVING ITEM(S): WE ARE PUTTING TOGETHER
A THANKSGIVING COVERED DISH. THE ONLY ORGANIZATION IS BRING WHATEVER
MAKES THANKSGIVING AT YOUR HOUSE (YOU KNOW THAT SPECIAL DISH) WE WILL
PUT IT ALL TOGETHER. God Bless and Godspeed.
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 - CORRECTION: Father Colm
will not be able to celebrate the Mass at 6:30, but will be here for the
holy hour from 7-8. Any families wishing to renew their commitments
or enter the HOM can do so at Father Rafael's Mass in two weeks or at the
end of the holy hour (if they are going to be unable to come to Father
Rafael's Mass or the Thanksgiving retreat).
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 - Father
Rafael, OUR FOUNDER, will
offer the Sacrifice of the Mass at Assumption Catholic Church at 6:00
P.M. The Mass will be followed
by a holy hour led by Father Rafael and a meeting of the entire community. Come
and join us for this special evening with our beloved founder. ALL ARE
WELCOME!!!
WEEKLY MEETINGS
The meetings will start this Friday from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
The meetings will take place in Kohls Hall. If not, follow the signs.
We will have simultaneous meetings for differents ages as we usually do:
adults, teens, children...
HOLY HOURS
Remember that we have a Holy Hour every Tuesday in Church from 7 to 8
p.m. During the Holy Hour the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, we pray evening
prayers (vespers), there is a meditation and silent prayer. We end with
the blessing with the Eucharist.
GIRL'S RETREATS (4th to 8th grade)
We will keep doing the Saturday retreats for girls grades 4th to 8th.
The girls who are in 7th or 8th grade will help also as team leaders
and it will count as service hours. The retreats start at 10.30
a.m. and they finish after 4.30 p.m. vigil Mass. The girls need
to bring is their lunch pack. We will provide snaks for them. Parents
can join us for Mass. If you are not staying for Mass you can
pick them up at 5.30 in Kohls Hall.

(there will not be a retreat in December)
GIRL'S RETREATS (8th grade and High School)
We will also have retreats for older girls. The retreats will be on weekends
(Saturday through Sunday staying overnight) for girls ages 13 and
up.They will typically start on Saturday at 4.30 p.m. in Church for the
vigil Mass and they will finish on Sunday at 4.00 p.m. You can pick them
up in front of Jordan Hall. During these retreats we will have different
kinds of activities including visits to shrines or to hospitals...

THANKSGIVING RETREAT FOR FAMILIES. RESERVE THE DATE!!!
We are planning a retreat for families in Orlando during the Thanksgiving
Break (November 26th-30th) with Father Rafael, the Founder of the Home
of the Mother. We will send you more information as soon as we can.
